Comfy, but why so many tags?!?

Love these underwear and their fit is great except for the slightly tight waist. But why are there at least 4 long tags in each of these…in addition to the printed label on the inside?!? They're super soft and I had high hopes, but they slide and ride right up. Wedgie city. I wish they had a little rubberized edging so they'd stay in place.
