I found out about Athleta girl swimsuits about four years ago. These are the best swimsuits for active girls who like to swim, play on the beach or pool and be fully covered yet look adorable and girly. These suits do not shift, are age appropriate and great all the way to their early teen years. ... They come in beautiful colors and do not fade.

This is a really cute swimsuit on my daughter. However, the bottoms have begun pilling after wearing once and the stitching is coming loose at the seam on the waist. I was considering buying another color but I'm not sure that these will hold up for even one summer.

I don't know why I didn't realize this was bottoms only. When I went to order the top, there was no stock left in the matching size. Very disappointing. Hopefully it will match the other bathing suit ordered after the fact.

My 8th grade daughter loves this bikini bottom, with her favorite aspect being that it stays in place when she swims and goes off the diving board. She has had trouble finding bottoms that stay in place for her. She also loves the two color options. She asked me if she could get a second one in another color option too.
