She isn't old enough to need or want to wear the pads that were included, so she is stuck only feeling comfortable wearing it on the printed side (which is super cute, so it's okay).

My 12 year old twins normally wear a size 14, but these tops hung off their bodies with about a 2 inch gap where the lower band needs to fit snuggly. They are both fit and trim. The bottoms in the same size fit perfectly. It can be tricky to order the right size for this age. If your daughter is small up top, go down one or two sizes. The suit is great quality and so cute. I wish it fit!
