Wore them on a run. Much like other reviewers, I wanted the pocket to be bigger. It fit my phone but was too difficult a spot to pull it out often. I read reviews that suggested to size up. I am normally a large, and was worried they would be too big. Bought a large and they were sleeping down throughout my run. I liked the fabric and the cut at the bottom of the legs, but would like to return for a smaller size.

While I do appreciate that this legging fits true to its description as ultra high rise, (I am 5'10") it does not help to "snatch" your waist. The material is soft that the waist rolls down during exercise, despite the waist string provided. It also puckers a lot.

Ultra hi-rise no more, please less rise. Also, the crotch was so low, I had to stop several times to pull them up while running. Please Athleta, go back to making running clothes and bathing suits that normal people can wear, like you used to

These are extremely well made leggings! The fabric is soft and comfortable and the nice wide waistband is comfortable. I ordered in medium and they seem to be true to size as I am a 6/8 depending on manufacturer. I don't think the compression is very snug but I am not returning them to downsize. There's a delicate balance between struggling to get leggings on and off versus a little less compression! At first I thought these would be way too hard to navigate because they looked super small. Nope-love them and they are comfortable and easy to wear!

Nice overall. I would prefer a straight hem on the bottom of the legs rather than the scooped hems. The crotch is a bit too long.
