I love the Hustle short so much (the original version that didn't have the super-angled leg opening) that it's hard to find a short that compares. I tried these in both the High-Rise and Medium-Rise. I followed the reviews and sized down to an XS from my usual Small. This worked great in the high-...rise and I kept the aloe color - so pretty! For the mid-rise, the XS fit as well. But I could see the subtle lining of the panty digging in, even through the print. Seeing it bothered me more than the feeling of it. I'm 5'6" and 128-130 lbs. I then tried my usual Small. Hubby gave me his input. He said the XS looked like it fit better and was more like the style I would wear, whereas he thought the Smalls looked more big and blousy. But the lining on the XS was just a tad too-snug so I opted to go with the Small (true to size) on the mid-rise short for a more COMFORTABLE fit. They are blousy and that is a shift from the Hustle short, so I wish there was a tad less "fabric" to them. I do love the pockets. I feel like I can wear these printed shorts for everything from workouts to around town. I guess I'm going blousy this season.
