Nice color but fit and fabric not good

Sadly, straight from the bag it looks like this fabric wants to pill. Also not a flattering fit (too much fabric gathering in arm out area and shoulders stick out to wide). For reference I'm 5'2" and 112lbs and purchased the xs

Loved the fit of this top which is perfect for my frame. It is more fitted than the cotton classic top. Unfortunately, after washing for the first time on cold cycle, the fabric failed and it got big holes along the seams and sleeves coming out of the washer! I liked it very much until that happened.
