This is exactly what I've been looking for…I live in a large city where I'm out and about walking most days. I need clothes that are as cool and comfortable as shorts but not shorts! This dress is perfect! The fabric is smooth , holds its shape, and doesn't cling. I bought all 4 colors and washed on...e to compare for shrinkage- no shrinkage! Hung it to dry as per the instructions and it dried in 4 hours with no wrinkles! Will be wearing it casually as pictured and also with sandals and a jacket. Runs true to size. I'm 5'6" ,115 lbs and bought a S. The length is about 1-2" above my knee.
I have this dress in black, blue, and grey. I am usually a Small, sometimes XS. But the small in this dress was way too clingy in all the wrong places. At 5'3", the small length was OK. The medium is a better fit, but is too long, hitting mid-knee. Wish it came in petite (at the time of this review,... there is only rose color in petite). I like the quality enough that I'll probably keep and spend the extra $ to have them hemmed.

ordered my size but found this very unflattering…too baggy I returned it. I did love and keep the Black Ribbed T shirt dress…a Small Tall..the length and fit was perfect…maybe the above dress was made for a larger frame woman. I do love the color …I am hoping for Fall Athleta will gravitate towards the earth tones again

I love the fit, length, and style of this dress, after too many Athleta dresses that were too short. My only complaint is the rough and itchy nylon thread that is used in the seams of ALL of the Athleta tops and dresses in the past year. Please remember that some of us have very sensitive skin. Adding a full length seam down the back doesn't help! The fact that this dress is not skin tight helped.

Dress is super soft and feels like pajamas. Great for casual activities, but not dressy enough for the workplace in my opinion. Its is super stretchy and maintains its shape and stays wrinkle free throughout the day. Arms and shoulders were a bit snug on me but I have an athletic build. I'm 5'8 and bought a tall since cotton tends to shrink in the dryer. Will definitely buy again!

This is a great, basic tee shirt dress that can be worn in many ways, i appreciate that it's not too short. I would prefer it without the cap sleeves, as sleeveless dresses are more flattering. I'm 5'3" and purchased the regular length in black. I generally wear a women's size 4 and size 27/28 curvy cut jeans, and the small fit my hips well.
