The retroterry sweatshirt is lighter than the retroplush which I like for spring and fall where it's still cool but not cold. True to size and washes well. Not too long but not cropped either. The only beef I have is I wish stores would stop using dryer sheets or whatever to scent the clothing bef...ore shipment. I am only assuming I am receiving a returned item or otherwise why the sickenly grape smell? It has happened with a few orders.Item isn't in a protective bag, just in the mailing package. I returned this last order (I have a few colors) because it looked like there was a discoloration on the chest.
The fit is true to size, it's not oversized. I'm 5'2" at about 130bls and small fit me. I like an oversized fit so I'm contemplating getting a medium instead. My biggest problem with this sweatshirt is that the fabric composition listed on the website does not match what is listed on the tag when I ...received the item. I bought the blue, which is a very pretty color and the fabric does feel very nice. However, I prefer fabrics like cotton and linen over polyester. One of the reasons I bought this was it was listed as 93% cotton. However, when I received it, fabric felt like a blend so when I checked the label, I saw it was only 57% cotton, 37% polyester, the rest spandex. If different colors have different compositions I believe that should be listed in the detail section on the website. I might return this.

Call this the classical fit, not super sized in cut and fit. Super soft, easy care wash, hang up to dry. Fit runs true to your size. Like that sweatshirt is not over sized, don't feel lost or sloppy in this sweatshirt. Can add collared shirt, necklace to dress up for work or on the go. Looks great with leggings, jeans, work pants, etc...

I love the Seacroft line but it infuriates me that Athleta does not put the same color in tops and bottoms and then they don't put the tops and bottoms on sale at the same time. It's hard to be loyal to a company that I love when they are playing games. there are many more brands available now then 10 years ago, fighting for the same business

I loved it! The fabric is somewhat heavy while still being silky and elegant. That I live in South Florida, I had to consider that I'd never have the weather to wear it then sadly exchanged it for a tee :(
