I loved this dress the moment I saw it online but I wondered about the basque waist and the color blocking. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, though I'll note it may not necessarily be flattering to all body types, and the shelf bra lines are somewhat visible through he light blue top. This isn't a deal breaker for me since it is a more casual dress, but if this is something that bothers you, a darker color may be better. #sweepstakes

The fit of the dress is perfect. My only issue is that I ordered the light blue and you can just barely see the outline of the padding in the bra. I thought about returning for the black, but I love the color too much so I'm going to see how self conscious I feel when I am actually out and about.
