This dress fit me true to size. I'm 5'4" and it falls just above the knee. It will be excellent for travel.

This linen dress is perfect; true to size on the top for definition, a little more relaxed at the hip for comfort and freedom of movement, and pockets! For reference I'm 36C/5'1" and the (S) is a good fit. It hits right above the knee. I've tried A LOT of summer linen dresses from other companies and this one is by far the best. The lining avoids the see-through look. Retreat linen (I have multiple wide-leg pants that I have already travelled with) is good quality. It washes beautifully, can hang to dry, doesn't stretch or wrinkle significantly like a lot of linen, and is breezy and cool for hot summer days. While I love "racer-backs", it's great not to have to travel with multiple bras and the design can be styled for day or dressed up for night. Good addition to the Retreat Linen line, Athleta! More colors please!

Cute dress, true to size with generous fit in the hips. Medium works for 34C, and curvy hips. The lining is nice, the linen is soft. The black isn't a dark black so hopefully it won't fade in the wash. I wish it was a traditional or racer back rather than U shaped though ~ easier to not have a bra show. Good dress for casual sunny days or evenings.

I really wanted to love this but was super tight across the arms and chest area (and I am not a big chested girl) with way too much volume on the bottom. Had to return this one.

I'm 5'0 165lbs 38C and usually wear a petite large in Athleta. In this the regular XL fit best in the chest and length. The petite Large was too tight in the chest and the neckline pulled uncomfortably across my collarbones. The extra length in the regular size made the trapeze cut more flattering, I got it on sale and it will be a great beach dress.

I'm usually M tall in pretty much everything Athleta - sometimes S tall. However, this dress was so tight across my chest area it felt like it was choking me. I ordered it in a L tall and I like it. Has pockets and will be great for an upcoming trip - dressy enough to wear for a meal out and could also double as a swimsuit cover up. Yes it is wide at the bottom but it works for me because I'm tall. I've washed and ironed it and it hangs much nicer now.

I'm 5'5" and usually wear a size S from Athleta. I wanted this dress to fall closer to my knees, so I ordered the Tall version. The linen is high quality and not see-through, which I really appreciated. However, the overall style is too baggy and not very flattering on me. Unfortunately, I'll be returning it.

I am petite but ordered a tall size and the length is nice for me. At the knee. Love that the dress is lined and style works well for my body type. Looks very cute on. Happy with my purchase .

I love all my other linen pieces from Athleta but this dress doesn't work. It should be cute but between the length which is a bit too short and the exaggerated fullness at the bottom it could easily be a maternity dress. Not flattering. It will go back.
