It's the first pair of workout shorts I found in a while that make me feel comfortable no matter how much water I may be retaining. All the running shorts tend to hug in the wrong places on bad days. These hang right even at 51.

I got to try these on in-store and thought they were cute and fit well so ordered in Medium, black. Unfortunately, after wearing for less than an hour, I noticed the seam is incredibly uncomfortable. It's really thick and rough and rubs on the thighs. Very poor design. I'm so bummed I just removed t...he tag because I definitely don't want to keep wearing these and wish I could return. Loungewear is supposed to be comfortable!

I absolutely love these cotton shorts! However, I have worn and washed them twice- following Athleta's care instructions- and the elastic waistband is already falling apart. For the price point it is unfortunate that they're already not holding up
