They really feel airy! I only tried them on and haven't worn them yet but walking around the house, but I think they will be very comfortable in hot weather. Made well and they are cute on. I usually wear a medium in Athleta bottoms and this is what I got. Fit like the picture.

The most comfortable shorts!!! Nice thickness but not heavy or weighted down. Great purchase!! I normally wear a large in most Athleta shorts but purchased an XL. Slightly big but room to wash and dry with no fear of coming out too small or too short.
