I am 5'2" about 135 lbs. usually a size small in tops, and small petite in pants at Athleta, and medium in bathing suits….i followed review suggestions and sized up, ordered a large petite, fits nicely , i probably could have worn a medium petite too…anyway, it is flattering and comfortable.
Versus
I'm 5'11", ordered the medium tall. There is no way I could get the top half to stretch enough to put this on, and I don't even have a long torso for a tall lady! If you're average height you might consider ordering the tall but I wouldn't say this is tall friendly.

After reading the reviews I went up one size. Bad move, the large tall was too big. I will be returning it. It is a nice suit though. I am 5'6" 150 lbs.
