I've noticed some reviews describing this as being "for flat-chested women" or saying it offers "no coverage." I think that wording can come across a bit harsh. Fit and coverage really depend on how you plan to wear it. I will be using it for ballet warm-ups! This wrap top is designed more as a lig...htweight cover-up, not necessarily as a fully supportive standalone top. When worn as intended (over a sports bra, bralette, or tank), it works beautifully. For reference, I typically wear an XS at Athleta, but I sized up to a Small in this style and found the fit much better. Overall, it's a cute layering piece — just keep in mind the intended use and consider sizing up if you're between sizes.
I heeded the reviews saying to size up and wish I hadn't because it ended up being too big. I fall between XS and S in most Athleta tops, but I ordered a M, and I probably could've gotten away with an XS. It is a pretty short crop, even on a 5'3" gal like me, but I was planning to wear high waisted ...bottoms with it. Also related to being a shorty, I wish they'd offer long-sleeve tops like this at shorter arm lengths (without shortening the torso cut). However, even if this top had been the right size, I would still be returning it because the stitching is ridiculously uncomfortable—especially in the upper arm and armpit area, where the shirt is designed to basically be flush with your underarms. It's super itchy, stiff, and irritating. In the 1-2 minutes I had the top on, that was instantly noticeable. If you're someone who chafes or gets razor burn in your pits, then skip this top. It's a bummer, cause I LOVE the design and the material feels nice and has a good stretch, but Athleta has to improve several things before I'd try it again. ALSO, in case anyone wants to know, the white is made with a thick enough material that it's not see-through!

I now have three of these tops. I was hoping these tops come back in style. I loved them in the early 2000 and I love them now! The top does run small and snug but they are made to be that way. I'd recommend going up one size. If you size up too much, the top won't wrap correctly and you will have an awkward gap.
