Cute shirt that is extremely fitted. I am a size 10-12 and purchased the XL and it still was very tight. I always wanted to wear a longer sports bra to the gym, but didn't want to show skin, so this gives a similar look as it barely covers the waist. I don't think I'll wear this out and about, since I have a mom-tummy, but it will be a great gym T-shirt.

The problem with sizing up is the neck and shoulders become loose and wide, compared to the rest of the shirt. I wish Athleta offered a top like this in a slightly more relaxed, but not loose fit. I really like the sticky band at the bottom for no ride-up when working out or running and the fabric is substantial for hiking or weight lifting. I also appreciate the subtle striping that is offered in a few colors. However, I always look a bit frumpy in the neck and shoulders due having to size up so much for it to fit my mom middle and the length is too long for my shorter frame. Head's up, the "willow" color is much more of a drab olive green than depicted in the photos. I had to send some of those back. Willow didn't look green at all in the photos.

I was so excited to run in this shirt for the 2026 Boston Marathon. It was my first Athleta purchase and I'd figured I'd treat myself for the big day! It is excellent quality and helped me feel "aerodynamic" as I don't typically run in tighter fit tops. I was however quite disappointed when I ripped through the shirt putting the race bib on. The numerous holes in the top does not adhere to runners, as it is advertsided on the product. Though I loved the look and feel of this on race day, I unfortunately am not able to wear it again.
