Overall the basic black linen shirt is average. For the price I expected more detail and softer fabric.The shirt feels heavy and scratchy. It also runs small. I usually am so pleased with Athleta items and the thoughtful design in the clothing. This shirt could have been that but it's not. I will keep it because it matches the mediocre pant I purchased.

I have two linen shirts from a very reputable company that I love, that I found more affordable. I purchased this tap when it was on sale and noticed immediately a huge difference in the quality of line I had received. I can wear this shirt for days and it is still fresh. It is so comfortable. It fits just loose enough, but is so flattering. Athletic is my new go to for linen. It's worth the price difference to pay a bit more and get this level of quality.
