Cute shorts, but they are so thin they are see through. Tried the yellow and tan. Both had the same problem. Size down because they run big and I am sure like most linen they will stretch as u wear them.

I feel like Athleta sizing has really gotten way too big lately. On the size chart, I'm between a 2 (XS) and 4 (S), but lately I've found that XS and size 2 items have been too big lately. I'm 5'0" and have a waist of 26-27 and hips 36-37, which should put me squarely in that range, but every bottom I've ordered lately has been too big, and this short is no different. I ordered these in an XS and they felt very comfortable, but the shorts looked too wide and the waist was too loose. I like the zippered pockets, but don't like that they're lined with polyester - that destroys the purpose of wearing linen. Overall, I wanted to love these, but I'll be returning them since XXS is out of stock in the colour I wanted (not that I should ever be an XXS anyway).

I read all the reviews and bit the bullet and am glad I did! The waist fits smoothly right below my belly button and lays flat, creating nice lines. At first I thought they might be a little long but I think they're actually great.

Every piece of linen I have purchased is perfect!! The quality is amazing! The fit is awesome!! I love every color and the zippered pockets are a bonus!! I have about 30 pair of these shorts and at least 15 pair of pants in different styles!! Love the linen!! Please continue making the linen!!

Love these shorts. I purchased the pine and white. Perfect amount of put together and comfortable. Lightweight linen. Not scratchy like some. I wish the white shorts pockets were nude instead of white. The white is very see through even with nude underwear. Sadly, these will be going back.

Please make a 6-7" version. Some of us are too old for short-shorts. The colors and the linen are great, but they could do without the zippers. Please make a longer length, or at least offer a Tall version. I agree with the other reviewer that the waist is smaller.
