I'm a bit all over the map with this particular line, love alot of it but have issues as well. I love the fabric, structure and style of both the pant and the skirt. If the shorts were longer I'd probably consider them as well. I knock off stars for sizing, I'm a solid size 6 occasionally a 4 5'3" 132#. In the Skyline pants I purchased both an 8 and a 10, the 8 fit as high rise the 10 as mid rise, both work but weird to have to size up so much. I ordered these skirts in 8 tall and they are back ordered until June so I decided to try the 10 reg. the 10s fit like a mid rise should, just below the navel which gives me the extra length I prefer so will keep these and cancel the talls. like I said love these but sizing is a bit crazy. The fit and length of this skirt are great! It can be dressed up or worn casually with a Tshirt and flip flops. The issue I have is the material is see-thru to the extent the lined pockets clearly stand out, as well as the hem all around the skirt. This is where the fabric is doubled; the majority if the skirt is a single layer of material which is sheer.

I looked everywhere for this style skirt last year. Too, short, too flimsy, and undershorts everywhere. This skirt solves all of those problems. At 17", it is modest enough to wear almost anywhere. The fabulous skyline fabric is structured enough where the skirt holds its shape. Finally, no built-in shorts! I have short bicycle shorts should I want them, so the versatility is appreciated.

Cute skirt in the great skyline fabric. Ordered the black and the white. The black does fade when you wash it on cold and dry on low similar to the skyline barrel pants. Took size 4 as I'm the skyline shorts and pants. fabric becomes soft and flexible with washing.

Just FYI, this is not a skort! When I use the filter and only check "skort", I expect that everything I see is a skort. This is not true--Athleta please fix that. I would have loved to keep this as it is super cute--I just needed the skort. So it is a return for me.
