I purchased the yellow, size petite small. I have never been one size with any clothing so tend to order a couple sizes to find a good fit. I also ordered the blue but decided to go out of my comfort zone with the yellow & I'm glad I did. I loved the fit! The shorts were a bit awkward with them bein...g 1/2 attached but it was great not to take the outfit off just to use the restroom. Loved being able to wear it to Wimbledon especially since we were sitting mostly on the grass or walking all over the area in 85 degree weather. Very comfortable & really liked the pleated skirt.
Ordered this dress in a medium and the fit was good (5'8 - 143lbs). However it was how the shorts are attached to the dress that really was unusual. The shorts are attached to the in the front with the idea that you can lift the dress from behind and pull the short down to use the bathroom. Howeve...r, since the shorts are sewn in the front when you tried to pull the short in down it pulled uncomfortably on your neck. Not sure why they decided to go this route instead of just using a detached short underneath like most dresses. It's a shame since the dress is flattering. I will be returning since the design should prevent me from choosing to wear the dress often. For the cost, it's not worth keeping

Just like others are saying, the attached shorts are not good. Cute otherwise. May go to a tailor to see if they can be removed. Also, I sized up to S because I have a long torso and very glad I did.

Love the color and love the idea of this dress—but they should not have attached the shorts and left them separate. As it is, they are sewn in and it creates a gap around the waist and creates puckering and pulling that ruins the fit around the waist. I tried the medium and the large and it was the same with both. Also, the belt is too big on both sizes and doesn't cinch in all the way.
