I've bought this in other colors, but was disappointed in the black as it is more of a charcoal grey and there a some slight faded streaks in the fabric. I ordered a 2nd one (because in general I love this top) and it was the same. Other reviews have said this as well. I'm debating returning it for a 2nd white one, which I wear alot. Maybe that's why the black one was on sale when I bought it.

I love the style of top and have it in multiple colors. I just received the "black". It is not black at all. It's more of a charcoal or distressed/faded black. I'm disappointed because I wanted it to go with some of my other black Athleta pieces.

This is a beautiful color and it will be great for spring. My only real complaint is that the picture shows that it falls lower on the model than it actually does on me. I'm only 5 foot tall… and I think she's holding it behind her back which makes it looks like it's more fitted and it is not . Otherwise it's very nice.
