A quarter zip is my latest obsession. There is something about a quarter zipper that makes the collar so complementary and versatile. I love them for casual wear, but I especially love that this can work at work for me. It's like a perfect casual/classy pairing that makes me feel like I'm secretly ...bucking workplace wear, but my boss isn't any the wiser. I first bought the cream Seasoft Quarter Zip last spring. I was back to buy the blue this summer. I love the style of these. It goes with a variety of bottoms and is a perfect layer (not too heavy, not too light). It really is so soft. I am glad they brought in some color options since the first offerings were very neutral. I like bright colors so the blue is inching its way in the right direction. The nature of the fabric is sort of dusty, so it's not an intense color, but I'm glad they have more options now that cream, black, and green. I am eager to wear it once the weather cools off just a little.

I've had this for a while along with the pants that go with it. I finally wore the outfit. I didn't spill or otherwise get the top dirty, just needed a wash after wearing. I washed according to directions. The pants washed nicely. This quarter zip top came out of the wash with big stains that lo...ok like it was still wet even though it wasn't. It didn't feel wet, but I put it on the drying rack for a night just to be sure. It wasn't wet, it was stained! I rinsed it and sprayed the stains, Rewashed, those stains came out but new ones appeared! Repeated the process two more times, each time the old spots came out but new ones appeared. For the price this should be way way better quality. Style is cute, fabric is soft but poor quality that gets stains for no reason.. It is unwearable. Very very disappointed in this zip top and with Athleta.

Beautiful fabric that hangs nice against the body. I ordered black - when it arrived it was more of a charcoal color, which is fine but the description and the images lean towards black.

The SeaSoft Collection has a luxurious feel and the black is beautiful - almost has a charcoal look to it which may be more forgiving of stains. After careful consideration I decided to return the 1/4 zip as well as the matching pant. I can be such a stain magnet and feedback indicated that this fabric has the tendency to stain and show water marks so easily.

I love the feel of this material; like silk, making it seem more like a luxury piece. It has a boxy shape, but doesn't look boxy because of the lovely drape to it. The longer cropped length is just right hitting me at the hip, so no tummy show. Wish more tops came in this length. Because of the sheen to the material, dark colors do have almost a "faded" look to them, but that's not noticeable on the mid to light colors.
