These are my favorite pair of pants. I bought a pair years ago and wore them out. When I discovered that Athleta brought them back a few years ago, I ordered several pair. They fit comfortably, snug, and just how I like them to fit. Because I have short legs it's not always easy to find anything that fits well and is flattering.

Purchased these for a 3 day hike in the Dolomites in Italy. I like the stretch but also the tougher fabric. They are like leggings but with a little extra room as you can see in my picture around the leg and ankle. I tried a pair from fjallraven that was highly recommended, but the stitching was botherson around the back of the legs, and since I easily chafe that was an immediate no before I left the dressing room. I have worn theses around for about 2 days just breaking them in and so far no issues. I am 185 lbs and 5'5" with larger hips and booty. If anything changes after the hike at the end of June, I will update.

I first bought a size 4 regular and I liked the way they fit, but I read some reviews about buying a size up and petite to get a little more relaxed fit. So I ordered the size up, but when I got them, they were just a little too loose at the bend across the crotch area. So I stuck with the 4's and I am super glad I did! I wore them on a trip to Alaska and loved them. They were perfect fitting to start with, even snug at the waist (but not tight at all), when i first put them on, but after a day of site seeing, traveling and really working them out, they did stretch out a little bit, and so the fit was more like a pant than tight leggings. Which was perfect. Also, didn't like the shorter pant length in the petite, the regular is perfect. Came home and bought the navy blue in the 4, when the black becomes available, will get some of those too. I am 5'4" and weight 130pnds. Hope this helps out!
I love the style of these leggings but they are not sized correctly. I wear a size 10P in normal shorts and pants. I upsized to 12P so they wouldn't be too tight. They are sooo tight, fit more like a size 8P. If you are curvy size up.
I so so so wanted to love these pants! I read all the reviews and I got so excited to order them! They finally came and I put them on and I looked down and I initially felt like a cool Lara Croft, but instead I looked up and I turned into Lara Crotch…!? If you have any kind of fupa or pooch, these may not be the pants for you. I just had a baby a year ago and finally felt like I was getting my body back, but I got these pants and I did NOT feel good in them. Something with the thickness of the fabric in the area with the hard seem line down the middle did not make things look flattering. Weird because a lot of pants have seems down the middle with no problem, but it might just be the cut or the combination of the thick fabric. Maybe I'll wait a bit longer for the pooch to go down before I try again…

These are so cool looking! Love them! I bought in black and green. Would totally buy again! I am 5'3", 140-145, hourglass shape and I purchase a 6. I would say these are true to size. So comfortable with slight strech and will be grat for travel and gym!
