I've gone back and forth on whether to keep or return. Ultimately I think I've decided to keep them. Some of the things I don't like: the 2 blacks don't match but when they're on, it's not as noticeable. They say they're mid-rise, but they are high-rise! Which I don't like and is main reason I was g...oing to return them. I just find high-rise uncomfortable & unflattering. And they go in considerably at the waist, so if you hold them up, they are a definite hourglass shape. I'm pretty straight and carry a little extra in my middle so I find the waist going in not that pleasant and I really don't know many people actually built that way...you'd have to have a really small waist to normal hips, or have really large hips. Why I'm deciding to keep them: they fill a need for a dressier pant but with the legging comfort and some stretch. I also love that they're long...I got the tall. I like my leggings to bunch up a small amount on top of my foot and these do that perfectly. I'm counting on losing a bit of weight in my mid-section then I think these will be perfect! For reference, I'm 5'6" about 120lbs and got the tall. I don't think I would have liked the regular near as much. Not a fan of the 7/8 length or my ankles showing and being cold in the Chicago winter! These look cute being a bit longer.
I like these, but they could be better. Use the fit finder tool... my street clothes size was too small, but the fit finder recommendation was perfect. Style and features are great, and fit is spot on... except the waist band is really loose. It has an internal drawcord, but it doesn't have a ...toggle, so doesn't stay cinched... and it's too short to cut and tie a bow. I removed the drawcord and added an elastic waist, and they are perfect now (but at this price, that shouldn't be necessary). The Black is not black. It's a brown/dark gray black on front, and black-black in back... it does NOT match other black items from Athleta. Ugh - I like to match. (I also purchased in cabernet, which matches other cabernet tees/tanks perfectly.) The fabric is really thick and heavy. (Why are all Athleta fabrics soooo thick??) These are fine in the winter, but the other day it was 75 out, and my butt was sweating in these. (How does "that" happen!) TOO SHORT... why is everything so short? It would be great if they offered an ankle and FULL LENGTH option. (I'm too chubby for "tall" sizes.)

These are the best, I wear them all the time and have several pairs in different colors, black is my favorite though. They are rugged, dependable, stylish, and my absolute favorite go-to leggings. I hope Athleta always carries them. I wear the tall size in 8, I like them long I weigh 145 and I am 5'4" tall.

I wear the Athleta Headlands Hybrid High Rise Cargo Legging for teaching yoga at the university, and they've quickly become a favorite. They're warm, incredibly comfortable, and very flattering without feeling restrictive. I can move freely through demonstrations, long holds, and transitions with zero pulling or adjusting. What I love most is that they look like a pant, not a traditional legging—polished enough for teaching, but still soft and flexible enough for practice. Functional, stylish, and perfect for active days that require both movement and professionalism.

I love these pants so much- as a busy CEO I wear these with a blazer and sleek sneakers many days. I love that I can take off my blazer, throw on an athletic jacket and get in a walk, switch back, and head back in to meetings. Or I can wear them hiking. Or to a hockey game. Thry are pretty much up for whatever!
