Soft, comfy, well made and the best leggings

Athleta… I am begging you, please bring back the old elation leggings. I'm only 44 and hopefully have many leggings-wearing years left. The thought of having to find another perfect pair of leggings is breaking my heart! The new version is plain old stretchy/plasticky, slightly sweaty before you even start moving just like every other cheap pair of leggings. The old elations were soft, breathable, felt like you could wear them forever. I couldn't wait to get the new ones off. The fit is weird too. They still call them the ultra-high waist, they are not. Even the talls are shorter…. Shorter inseam, shorter waist. Also the legs just don't fit right anymore. It's hard to explain how perfect the old fabric was.. thick enough to smooth out every wrinkle, but still soft and breathable. Compressive without being tight. If you know, you know. The new ones don't even resemble the old ones in any way. I'm still reeling.

The Elations leggings is one of my favorite! Love the fit, very comfortable, it's soft and hold me in. Highly recommended for weight training, yoga and tone classes and everyday wear. Will buy another pair for sure!

These have been my favorite leggings for YEARS. The absolute best on the market. They wash amazing and even get better with every wash/dry. SOOO soft and the perfect amount of compression without being too tight. The new material is absolutely terrible. They are very stiff and the waist is super tight and uncomfortable. They are not nearly as soft as the original ones and feel "cold". PLEASE bring back the original material.

As a physical education teacher, I've been wearing these leggings for five years! They are my go to every day! I have at least 20 pairs or more. Up until now I have loved them so much. With the recent change in material, quality, softness, and fit I have been very disappointed with any pair I've recently bought. The fit is much tighter and uncomfortable. No stretch or softness in the material at all. I find this very disappointing and will not purchase again.

I just started taking yoga classes a few weeks ago. I bought two pair to start and liked them so much I bought several more. They are super comfortable and the high waistband stays in place but never feels too tight.

I have never written a clothing review before, but that how upset I am. I have SO many pairs of old Elation leggings - they are the best. Soft and supportive and don't roll. I recently purchased some new pairs to replace some that are worn out and I am devastated by the change in material. It has little stretch and the waist is so constricting and uncomfortable. They are awful. Why did you mess with perfection? PLEASE go back to the previous fabric! I won't be buying these leggings again and now I have to find something new which is so stressful!

These leggings are not the bright pink you see. They also changed the name of them. Color is a muted pink!

Not to be dramatic but you guys are legit ruining my life. As a very long time elation 7/8 wearer, I can't even tell you how many pairs I've owned over the years, I want to tell you how much the new ones absolutely suck. First of all my old size smalls fit perfectly still, while the new ones I can't even squeeze over my hips. The size mediums are way too loose everywhere except the hips. I have tried multiple pairs to be sure. Besides that the size small and medium black leggings are both two inches shorter than the other colors?! Get it together Athleta!!! These were the best leggings on the market for years and the only ones that fit my body perfectly and now I can't even find a pair to wear not to mention the time and energy wasted on ordering and returning different sizes trying to find a pair.
