I just received these in the mail today and just tried them on. Wow, they are SO soft and comfortable! Great fit and style on me, they have a nice flow to them. I got the black and it is not a deep black, but more like a smokey black, I would say. They are a nice weight, not super thin or thick. I c...an't speak to how well they wear or anything because I've only been wearing them for 15 minutes, but I love them and came back to see what other colors are available. I live in New England and heat my house with wood and these seem like they will keep me warm and cozy, though not TOO warm. I need to buy most of my pants as crops as I have short legs and larger sizes aren't often offered in petite. These are not crops on me at all, which is great because I can wear them in winter. I also won't need to shorten them as I do full-length pants from Athleta. If you want comfort AND a bit of a nice drape and flow, get these!
I see a few other people have left reviews having the same struggles. Even though these are very adorable and extremely soft and comfortable, the material is very high-maintenance for sweatpants. I often have to wash and dry these at least two times (once I did it 4 times) to finally get all of the ...water marking out of them once they go through the dryer. You don't know where the water marking will end up... sometimes in the front and then you rewash and dry and then there's marking in the back and then you rewash and dry and then maybe just maybe the marking won't be there. As others have said, they dry with a tie-dye marble look which looks like water stains. The care directions are that they need washed inside out on gentle cycle and dried gentle on low heat. Even following these directions leaves unpredictable results. So disappointing and frustrating for a pair of sweatpants. I originally purchased these in both black and white, and I haven't had these issues with those colors. I then purchased them in the green and pink, and it's been a struggle. I wish I could go back and unpurchase these. :(
