The quality of the fabric and construction is amazing - and the numerous pockets make it the perfect travel pant... The ONLY reason I didn't give this a 5 (and I would give a 4.5 if that was an option) is that the pants are fairly snug at the waist for the "loose fit" of the rest of the pant. I am 5'5" and 118 pounds and usually wear a 4... I will keep these for daytime touring but would not recommend wearing for a long plane or train trip.

I wanted these pants for my daily walk in the summer. They are very comfortable and have lots of pockets. Unfortunately the fabric is not summer weight. I kept them however because I'll be glad to have them when the weather gets cool this fall. Would love to see the same style in a summer weight fabric. Also, the length is adjustable but they are just barely long enough when fully extended on me. I am 5' 7".
