Fits true to size. I found the back waistband has a bit of a gap but I think that's due to the hidden pocket. These seemed to be sweat proof as well!

These fit right just using the chart. They move and move back without riding up. They aren't thin. The fabric is a great thickness that won't be see through when bending over. Everyplace uses buttery soft to describe their stuff. You can use that with these and I say they smooth and downy soft. They stay smooth and soft after many washes.
