Was looking for a midweight wide-leg black pant to replace a pair of heavier linen wide-leg trousers I had from another brand...LOVE THESE. It's slightly thicker than the weight of the Brooklyn pants, but still perfect for warmer climates and transitional seasons. Really love the flowy fabric of t...hese and the silhouette. Since I am 5'10 (140lb), I often have to opt for the tall size to make sure styles like this don't hit at my ankle. Was hard to tell with these based on the model images, and I don't always trust the inseam info is correct (burned by that before). While I ordered the 4-Tall online, it turned out my local store had the 4-Regular in stock, and the 4-Regular fit perfectly. I wound up canceling the tall since it was on backorder til November and am glad I don't have to wait that long! As for some comments about the silhouette sticking out at the pockets on the hips...I didn't have this problem, for what it's worth. I've got a little curve in the hip, but it didn't force the pockets to bulge at an angle. Overall these look super sleek and I'm loving the style versatility!

I really want to love these pants, and I mostly do. Here's my review. CONS: 1. they are VERY much athletic/track pant material, leaning towards more athletic-looking than actual trousers. This was maybe the biggest downside for me, but I accepted what they are and am deciding to keep them. 2. they d...o absolutely NOTHING good for the butt area. It gives me a long flat butt. 3. They aren't as wrinkle free as promised. I'm going to travel w/ them and hope it doesn't get too bad but looks like they do wrinkle right out of the dryer. PROS: Love the real zipper and the waist band is nice. Love the color. They are very comfortable. Petite is a little too short for my 5'4 legs but that's kind of usual. Taking them to Japan for 3 weeks so we'll see how it goes. Hopefully i can dress them up when needed.

The fit on these are great but the fabric is too thick and heavy in my opinion. I prefer the Brooklyn Heights High Rise Wide Leg they used to have- the fabric was lighter and had more flow. Perfect for hotter months and I would layer leggings under them in the colder months
