These are not mid rise. The rise is super high and since the waist cord/elastic is narrow it is not even suitable for folding down. If the rise would have been lower I would have kept them and they would have been 5 stars.

great if you have some length. I'm 5'7". sized down to a small (im usually a small or medium depending). Like that you can dress these up a little - elevated athleisure though I still couldn't pair it with anything other than sneakers

I am 6' tall and 175. I purchased the T Medium. They are going back. These pants do absolutely nothing for your rear end. Pancake. And the fabric is not forgiving (must wear a thong, and even that will show at the top). The rise is very long. Way too long, I can hike these up to my bra line. I appreciate that Athleta makes pants for us tall girls, so three stars. But no, even if I sized down to a small. They are super long and the color is a really pretty navy.
