The pockets and length are perfect l. My original pair did have some of the stitching come undone after a few wears, but Athleta customer service was great and sent me a replacement pair. This pair I've had no issues! Just competed in a Hyrox competition with them and they held up great!

These stayed put on my 3mi run! Previously I have only been successful with 5in shorts that have silicon grippers on them, otherwise 5in shorts always roll up on me. These largely stayed put! Maybe they inched up a little, but not a noticable amount. I used body glide too, just in case, and the combination was solid; my thighs survived the day. 5in shorts+body glide:1 Chub rub:0

Love the compression. They'd be perfect for volleyball. Please add 3-4" shorties inseam asap (in Talls of course- thank you for all the Talls!). Absolutely love the Elation shorties, but would really like a little more compression.
