Love these shorts. Great fit, very flattering and fabric is thick and stretchy. To me these are TTS, I wear a size 4 in Athleta (sometimes a 2) and they fit me perfectly with even a little give in the waist. These shorts are super cute, flattering with great fabric. A definite must have. For me, these were TTS, I got them in a size 4 (I wear a size 4, sometimes 2 with all my Athleta bottoms). I will be living in these shorts all summer! The cut is perfect for my body. If you have a narrow waist but generous hips and booty, these shorts are for you. I love that the shorts flare out at the hem giving them a A-line silhouette that accommodates muscular thighs. The higher rise makes them perfect with slightly cropped tops. And while they have a clean, tailored look, the fabric has enough give to make them super comfy. As other reviewers have noted, the fit runs a bit small. I'm between a small and a medium these days. I opted for a size 8. I have noticed that, although the inseam is a fairly modest 4", the a-line cut (and my ample bottom) make the shorts seem a little shorter in back.

Beautiful short, but runs small. I bought my normal size 8 and it was tight in the waist. Have never had that problem at Athleta. My teen daughter who is tiny could have worn that size and have it be a little loose and she's normally a size 2 or 4.

I gave these shorts a try after reading the reviews about fit issues that indicated the waist was on the small side and legs were on the large size, and I was delighted to find that these proportions perfectly suit my curvier frame! If you struggle with snug legs or waist gaps on shorts, these might be for you, too! The fabric is stretchy, but the cut still looks polished. Love them!
