I'm always on a lookout for a 5" short. At 5' 5" it's the perfect length for me to feel comfortabel and look cute. I wish they were mid-rise, but you can fold down the waist band. Nice big pockets, along with a zip pocket if you wanted to put a key in. Nice light weight fabric for hot days.

These shorts are great for walking, hiking and everyday use. The rise is perfect and the length is great. I would suggest changing the seam along the inner thigh as it tends to rub and is mildly irritating.

Love these so much, that I went back for a second pair in another color. I bought them to go on an extended hike in Hawaii, but ended up loving them for everyday as well.
