So I didn't like the old Solace bra because the straps were a bit too long, and the band was just not supportive enough to those of us who need a little more gravity assist and motion-resistance. The new design seems to fix both of those issues. The straps also manage to hit over my shoulders at a s...pot that isn't resting on my traps (like a lot of racerbacks tend to do, and which causes discomfort). But like I said, still needs improvement. The front is a bit lower than I'd like, and the front piece is a multi-piece design sewn together.... and one part where all those seams meet is right at the V of the neck. With a smaller chest this might not be an issue, but larger girls means more stress on the fabric, which pulls at this part and causes the bulge where the seams meet to protrude a bit, and it is noticable through lighter weight shirts. I did keep the black Solace that I purchased, since I plan to wear it under tanks in the summer when I don't care if my bra shows, but I returned the Wicker color because it was not a great match for my skintone and was still very visible through light colored tops. Would love to see a tweaked design with a rounder neck and better seam management on the front side.
This was my VERY VERY FAVORITE bra!!!! I was trying to get it in 3 more colors and was so disappointed when they came and the first time wearing it to the gym it was so uncomfortable! The higher part that comes around from the armpit to the back, was digging into my back the whole time. I had to ke...ep trying to pull it around to adjust it.. I guess I'm a small D, so the coverage and support for me was perfect plus the lower back peice and straps were so comfortable.. I wish they could keep the old design and make it a C-D size... I returned my 3 new designs and sized up in the A-C but it's not the same. Now the straps dig in...

If you have a smaller ribcage and large boobs this one is a pass. I bought a medium for 34E and it's just too big around the bottom, the girls keep popping out the bottom, and the straps are too long to actually hold anybody in place. It is comfortable, and looks great, just can't wear it for ANY activities. Tried just walking in it today, I was all over the place. Will use it for a sleep bra. But that's it. Too bad because I can't imagine the small will be significantly better.

The new design, with the seam down the middle has made these once incredibly comfy bras bulky and awkward. It's seems they have added more material which also makes the fit lumpy. I have tried this bra 3 times thinking it might just be me, but every time I return it. Super unfortunate. This bra was my absolute favorite.

This new design now has a weird center seam (and a v-neck) that shows thru fitted tops and back straps don't lay as well as older version of this bra. If you have been wearing the original design, it's now different. I have been buying this bra in every color for years and had hoped to refresh my closet, sad to have to find another one. This isn't it anymore.

V-neck sports bras never work for me. They create too much cleavage and I eventually spill out of them. I'm a 34D and found the M D-DD to be just a little big in the cups and the band. The straps are very comfortable and I did like how soft the fabric is. This bra offers light to medium support. #sweepstakes
