I am so pleased with these shorts. I have them in black and light beige. I love that the linen is not see through. It's thick and durable but doesn't feel heavy in the summer heat. They also hold their shape well after wearing them an entire day.

Love the length and the rise of these shorts. Very light and comfortable. Not stiff like some linen. Bought black, eden and white. I ordered a medium first and they were a little big, so got the other two in a small. The small size fits better, but I can still wear the medium. I have washed them several times and they have not shrunk. May buy some of the other colors.

I love the blue but the white just seemed too baggy. I would say these are high rise though, they should be a little lower to be mid rise. But very cute shorts.

Light and Comfortable for Hot Weather

These shorts easy to slide on (no buttons or zippers!) and feel so lightweight and comfortable on super hot days. Their easy length is *perfect*—just long enough for coverage (to keep inner thighs from rubbing) and they're flattering to my body (poochy stomach and no butt!). The zippered pockets are great and lie flat. This is the second season I've bought the Retreat linen shorts because they're the perfect go-to short for spring/summer and hot-weather destinations like Arizona. They do wrinkle quite a bit from sitting but all I care about is the fit and comfort factors. I'll keep buying them, especially when new colors come out. :)
