I loved this top so much that I had to get it in three colors—starting with the classic black, then bone and white. The ribbed fabric has a substantial weight to it that feels high-quality and flattering. It works beautifully as a base layer under jackets and sweaters in colder months, yet it's ligh...t enough to wear on its own in spring and summer. I originally ordered a medium, but found it a bit snug, so I sized up to a large, and the fit is perfect—comfortable yet form-fitting. The square neckline adds a touch of elegance that elevates even casual outfits. This is the kind of staple piece I reach for again and again.
This was described as hitting at the low hip. I am 5'2 and this shirt went slightly past my belly button. Maybe it's because I have a big bust, but if I raise my hand - you can see skin. I jump on any opportunity I have to buy cute tops that aren't cropped, and that is what I was hoping for with thi...s purchase. With the short length of the top and the sleeves being a bit too long, I don't look put together in this top. However, the blue is beautiful and the quality is I what I expect from Athleta, but if you are petite and curvy, this might not be for you.
