This is my fifth shimmer top in Athleta girl line. I'm an adult but can wear the size 16/xxl. The cut and style of this year's top is different. My previous years size was a xl/14, but that was way too tight and short. The 16 fits, butIt's shorter in length and much more fitted in torso and arms. Un...til u get to wrists, there the fabric opens up almost like a bell and it's almost too easy to push sleeves way up. I really like the glacier color so I'm happy to pair it w my matching rainier tights but like the previous years fit better.
The shirt was expected to be a bright lavender, but it was a dull blue. Very disappointed in color but good quality.

My daughter is OBSESSED with the thumb holes. She loves the overall style of the top and the color. She is a dancer and loves how it is thin and keeps her cool but still loves the long sleeves. She has really long arms and she can't find a lot of tops that fit her well, especially with thumb holes, but Athleta has been a great solution for her.

We've bought many power up tops over the years, both long and short sleeve. My 6th grader likes the shorter length. It looks cute with high rise sweatpants. Size 12 is perfect for her at 11 years old. Sleeves are a bit long, but manageable. If you are looking for a longer length shirt, I would pass on this style.
