My daughters love these bras. We have tried many different styles at Athleta and other stores and this is the one they keep coming back to. As the parent who does the laundry, the only peeve I have is the removable padding gets jumbled in the wash and you have to dig out the cups and reposition them.... Not a huge deal and I have seen it in other brands as well, but something to be aware of.

We some of these for my daughter in 2025; they were called the same thing as these. In fact, I clicked on my previous order to order more of them. What arrived is NOTHING like the "just right adjustable" brad that we preciously bought. Same size, same product listing, yet they are drastically differ...ent! The new version barely has any material, is overall smaller, and doesn't have removable pads like the version from last year. Every recent althleta purchase has "updated" items listed under the SAME product name/ listing as items I've previously ordered but the quality has drastically declined. The items are nowhere near the same, yet Athleta tricks customers into buying them and then have to deal with the hassle of returning them. I can't shop here anymore - too many quality declines and falsely making customers think they're buying higher quality items with outdated product links. The photos don't lie - these items were both purchased from the same product listing and are the same size. Old (gray) one is on the bottom. Athleta - it's time to update your product listings and product names if they don't match the previous versions and the quality is awful!! And girls bras should have removable pads!

This style is normally my daughter's preferred bra. I grabbed a bunch on sale a week ago but this last group came with a terrible vinegar and chemical-like smell that wouldn't go away after washing. I washed them twice and can still smell a pungent odor. Not good. Is this why they were on sale??

My 10 year old daughter is really sensitive to materials and after trying many (MANY) styles from multiple vendors, this Athleta bra is the only one that she wears. I think the double layer of material offers her a bit of compression that she likes, too.
