My daughters love these bras. We have tried many different styles at Athleta and other stores and this is the one they keep coming back to. As the parent who does the laundry, the only peeve I have is the removable padding gets jumbled in the wash and you have to dig out the cups and reposition them...

Perfect starter bra for my tween.
We some of these for my daughter in 2025; they were called the same thing as these. In fact, I clicked on my previous order to order more of them. What arrived is NOTHING like the "just right adjustable" brad that we preciously bought. Same size, same product listing, yet they are drastically different! The new version barely has any material, is overall smaller, and doesn't have removable pads like the version from last year. Every recent althleta purchase has "updated" items listed under the SAME product name/ listing as items I've previously ordered but the quality has drastically declined. The items are nowhere near the same, yet Athleta tricks customers into buying them and then have to deal with the hassle of returning them. I can't shop here anymore - too many quality declines and falsely making customers think they're buying higher quality items with outdated product links. The photos don't lie - these items were both purchased from the same product listing and are the same size. Old (gray) one is on the bottom. Athleta - it's time to update your product listings and product names if they don't match the previous versions and the quality is awful!! And girls bras should have removable pads!

My daughter loves this bra and it's the only one she will wear. It's very soft and comfortable and perfect for tweens. I like that the neckline is lower and doesn't look exactly like a sport bra. Only issue I have is the seam is a bit thick and stitching is a bit itchy. Otherwise they are great!
My daughter loved the ones that she got a year ago. Went to buy more and they are completely different even though they have the same product name. The old version was wider in the front and even removable pads. New version has barely any material in the front and no padding. Hey Athleta - if you're going to update an item, you need to change the item name. Using the same name for a different product is misleading!

I think the straps could use some extra length for being able to convert to cross-back. I'm short but the straps were barely long enough for me the regular way even adjusted to their full length. Otherwise comfy.
