Was looking for a midweight wide-leg black pant to replace a pair of heavier linen wide-leg trousers I had from another brand...LOVE THESE. It's slightly thicker than the weight of the Brooklyn pants, but still perfect for warmer climates and transitional seasons. Really love the flowy fabric of t...hese and the silhouette. Since I am 5'10 (140lb), I often have to opt for the tall size to make sure styles like this don't hit at my ankle. Was hard to tell with these based on the model images, and I don't always trust the inseam info is correct (burned by that before). While I ordered the 4-Tall online, it turned out my local store had the 4-Regular in stock, and the 4-Regular fit perfectly. I wound up canceling the tall since it was on backorder til November and am glad I don't have to wait that long! As for some comments about the silhouette sticking out at the pockets on the hips...I didn't have this problem, for what it's worth. I've got a little curve in the hip, but it didn't force the pockets to bulge at an angle. Overall these look super sleek and I'm loving the style versatility!

I was SO excited to order these pants at such an affordable price, as I've been curious about them for a while! Shipping was unexpectedly fast, despite a crippling snow/ice storm in my area. The quality of the item is 💯. Love the color. Love the fabric. Love the length. Loved the flattering fit in ...the front…until I turned around in the mirror. To my dismay, my backside is nonexistent and gets swallowed up in all of the excessive fabric. The only way I will be able to wear them (to accentuate any backside at all), is if I roll up the waistband. Otherwise, it looks like I'm wearing a long weirdly-shaped skirt with a random long pleat in the middle of my backside—not very flattering. I was hoping to wear a cropped tee (also ordered during the same transaction), but it won't hide the rolled waistband. These pants were soooo close to being perfection for me! The size chart and fit let me down on this one! As a final purchase item, I cannot return.

I selected the size based on the chart and reviews. They're too big in the tummy area. I attempted to initiate an exchange but apparently I can only do a return. They are no longer on sale and I refuse to pay full price so I guess I don't need them.

I tried the regular length in the store in a size 0 but at 5'4 they were a bit too long so I ordered the 0 in Petite online. I like the look of the wide trousers. They fall beautifully and the Petite length works on my height and still puddle over a sneaker but aren't too long to wear with a sandal. Ultimately, I decided not to keep as I have a similar style already and I don't love the look of the elasticized back of the waistband. My measurements are 27" waist and 35" hips. The size 0 fit for a more cinched look but I could have easily worn a 2. I went for the smaller size because of how stretchy the waistband is so if you're in between sizes you could most likely size down as well.

This is my third pair of these pants and the first two (black and green) have a snap button on the inside by the hook and eye closure, which is a game changer. I ordered the truffle and the navy and they changed the button. It is now a poorly sewn button that is extremely difficult to get through the slit on the waistband. It will probably end up falling off after a few uses. Bring back the snap button!!
