I love the fit of these pants. They do run large so I'd suggest at least a size down. They are fitted in the waist so if that is your big area then don't size down. they are very flowing and forgiving elsewhere, which makes them slimming. They can be dressed up to go out, but the wicking, athletic material makes them great for busy days.

When I went shopping for Athleta's "dress pants" I didn't realize there was more than just the one type of style. The sale associates gave me a mini tour of three types of styles and this was one of them. They are extremely comfy for a long days work and then if needed I could wear them for a little workout session.
