Sizing at Athleta has been a challenge for me. I am 5'4" 116lbs 34A, 27 inch waste (not pants size). My shoulders are muscular and not skinny. I have one Athleta Hoodie that is an XS and way too big and one that is an XS and tight through the shoulders. I was on the fence about whether to get a me...dium, but I went with a small and I'm glad I did. The sleeves are long, almost too long for me and I think a medium would have been even longer. The bodice is fitted and flattering- it is supposed to be tight and doesn't feel constricting because the material is so stretchy. The shoulders and upper arms, which are often a problem for me when I buy XS, fit perfectly in the S size on this hoodie. Again, the hoodie is very fitted, but it was very comfortable and even roomy in the shoulders to move/ bend over/ stretch etc because of the soft material. You need to also wear something form fitting under this top or you will see bulges of material.

Got this on clearance after eyeing for months - risked the final sale. Best Buy ever!!! I'm 6'1 142 lbs small chested 34b. I got my normal small tall. It definitely fits more like a regular small or xs. Small fit but absolutely perfect!! Wanted it cropped and small. I can zip it for a snug fit or leave open. For summer it's perfect little jacket. The sleeves are soo long - absolutely perfect for my long arms and I can use the thumb holes which is rare for me! Softest material ever!! Amazing quality too! Got the brown tan colour and it's gorgeous!! Highly recommend!

I sized up from a small to a medium tall based on the reviews. It is still way too tight for me to comfortably wear without feeling claustrophobic. It is stretchy so I can zip it just fine, but it fits like a ling sleeve leotard. Had to give it to my daughter along with the matching pants since I purchased them on final sale.

Called ATHLETA to try and change it for a M but was told No. Their product is made overly small (as many reviews have mentioned) they should make an exception and give customers an option to exchange for a bigger size. I wished I sized up 2 sizes. I sized up 1 and it's still a very fitted look. It's soft and the arm length is perfect. I bought the matching leggings and will wear this a lot for casual. 6'0, 155lbs and went with large tall. Wish Athleta would let you exchange final sale for a different style. I'd be happier in xl tall.

I sized up to a medium tall and it is still extremely tight. It fits like a leotard or swimsuit. I wear a small in everything else from Athleta so the sizing seems way off for this hoodie. I don't even know if a large would fit much looser.
