I have one pair of joggers from a competitor that I wear often and was looking for something similar from Athleta. I prefer the Athleta jogger! These sit close to the body without being too tight or too loose (so they don't look sloppy). They are a lightweight material with stretch, perfect for my ...daily walks, hikes, or just running errands. The waist is high which I prefer, and at 5'9" with long legs I got the regular and they sit above the ankle. The pockets are nicely placed so when zipped they don't stick out and make your hips look wider. I got a small which is my normal Athleta size (size 4 in most pants) and they are perfect. Great jogger!
As cancer patient, I need as much UV protection as possible via sunscreen and UPF rated clothing. The Crosstrain High Rise Jogger states UPF 40+ on the website, when I received it in the mail, the tag said 15+. So if you're going through treatment or require certain medications that are sun sensitiv...e or UV rays increase cancer chances, this item offers low protection if you're going by the tag attached to the item. I contacted customer service and at first they said this item was 40+ but then I shared an image of the tag and they said the tag is instead correct. This is misleading, dangerous, disappointing, and a safety issue. Athleta doesn't accurately label their clothing. I purchased so many items from Athleta because of their UV protection and how can I trust them. Other items such as the Brooklyn ankle pant say online that they are UV protected at UPF 40+ but the tag doesn't mention it all, same for the Venice Jogger and the Interval Jacket. What is going on with their Product Safety and Global Product Integrity teams?

I only gave four stars because I haven't had a chance to wear and wash. Love the fit and the material. I think these will be as great as the Brooklyn jogger.

Love the color and fabric - but the fit is odd in the area from the waist to the crotch - I am 5'10" 145 lbs and ordered a Medium Tall. But the fit is baggy at my belly and in my butt. Almost like there's too much material. I was hoping to love these but they are going back.

Comfy but cute enough to look more put together than wearing sweats.

I brought these pants hiking in Acadia National Park in July and they were perfect for the varying temperatures. They kept me warming in the cool mornings and were light and breathable as the temperatures increased. Also incredibly flexible and easy to move and travel in. Highly recommend
