First of all, I don't want my 4 instead of 5 stars to insinuate this is t a great dress, because that is not the truth. In fact, I own two, and think this is one of the best T-shirt dresses Athleta has made to-date. This is a very flattering and very comfortable T-shirt dress. The material actually ...makes it a little nicer than your average T-shirt dress, and it is very lightweight. I took off one star because I think this dress is very short. I am only 5'3", and the regular medium barely goes past my fingertips. I had initially tried on a petite medium, but it barely covered my bottom. If you can get this in a length you are comfortable wearing, it is a wonderful dress! #sweepstakes
The positives - the material is very light and comfortable. It's a great "running around" outfit. The negatives - this will cling to every imperfection on your body. Size up x 2 if you would like it to be loose. I'm normally a medium - large dress. I would definitely need an XL, and I'm not sure t...hat even that size would do it. I'm 43 y/o, 5'8" and pear-shaped.

I like this dress but be warned that it hugs the body and is not at all loose fitting. I typically wear a size XS in all Athleta clothing and dresses but needed to order a size L for this dress to fit comfortably. Also, even though the length is stated as the same as the Essential Tee Dress, this dress is 1.5 inches longer in the size regular. This dress hits at the top of my knee. I am 5'3" 110 pounds.

My new summer go-to when I want to look/feel more dressed up for casual outings (when I normally live in all athletic wear); I am 5'7", 120# and ordered an XS (my usual size for all things Athleta). It's fitted and short (but not too short), which I personally like for this item. If you don't want it quite so fitted, ordering up one size will still provide a fitted look with less of a snug "hug" to the body.

Yay for a sturdy Tee dress that actually fits smaller people! I had been steadily growing more despondent over the frustration of having to return items that were marketed to XS or XXS petite sizes but lit up when I saw the online reviews that most felt this dress ran "small". Bingo! It's perfect for an XXS!

I am 5'10" tall, 154 lbs, 38a chest I usually wear an 8 or a medium, but I decided to buy a large tall. The dress fit, but I would have to wear spanks to pull it off and feel comfortable. I know some girls are happy to show off curves but the slightest belly bulge or underwear line puts me over the edge. I went to store and tried on xl but super disappointed that there were no xl tall in stock for the color I wanted.

I'm glad I read the other reviews and went with a Tall. I'm only 5'7, but that extra length is enough to make this a really comfortable everyday dress. It's not too clingy, and the pink is definitely going to require nudes underwear. I just wish it had pockets.
