I tried these in a size medium at the store, and the helpful clerk convinced me I should try the small. For reference, I am 5'11" and weigh b/w 145-150. I was surprised how much I liked the fit! She also convinced me I would get more wear out of them in a size tall. That way I can wear an actual shoe instead of sandals. I purchased the matching linen top as well and LOVE them together. As a tall woman, I worried about the monochromatic look, but it is so comfy. I feel like I am in pajamas, but look very put together. Haven't washed yet, so I can't speak to that.

I'm 5'1", 145 lbs. I sized down to a petite small and they are perfect. The cutest the bottom differentiates them from classic linen pants and the elastic waistband is very forgiving. They are heavier than traditional linen as well and I prefer that because they don't wrinkle as much and aren't see through. I bought navy and black when they first came out and snagged 2 more that were on sale. I love being to grab and go.
