Your mileage may vary, but as a short-torsoed person who always seeks out mid-rise options, I was disappointed in the fit. I consistently wear size 12-14 and the large was huge! Will need to return these, I recommend sizing down.

These would be great if the "regular" length pants had the same inseam across all sizes, but the plus inseam is too short for me at 5'8". I hate it when they do this. For some reason you're not allowed to be plus and tall at Athleta. And another case where they didn't make the color I wanted in my size, too.

My dreams have come true. I have wanted track pants for decades and finally found them, but these are elevated track pants. They have weight to them, the pockets are genius with the zipper and I don't even have to hem these, which at 5' tall never ever happens to me. The sheen is so beautiful and lux that I can see going on walks with it or to the airport for an overseas trip and even out at night with a nice coat. I like to travel light so I would totally wear these day and night. I am a 27/28 Jean size and I do have to pull the drawstring a little on my size S/P of these pants. I like how it looks but I might order my second pair in XS. I feel the XS will look even better. If you want a looser fit order your size and if you want a fitted waist and butt, go a sz smaller. That's my experience! I cannot recommend these pants enough!!!

All that I had hoped. Classic wide leg, side strip track pants but elevated and so well made with extra details like zippered pockets. I often order tall as I'm 5'9" but the regular are perfect, falling just above the floor in tennis shoes. I will be wearing these pants often, particularly for travel
