I truly like this top, however it runs large. This surprised me, because last year I order ribbed tops and they ran very small. I ordered a S last year retires for a M, which is a bit snug. This year I ordered a L to avoid returns. It was huge! Had to return anyway and ordered a M, which was a...lso a bit big. I do like Athleta, however I wish the sizing was more consistent.

I don't know why Athleta is suddenly all-in on the midriff thing but it's super frustrating. I am 56 and 5'9', and really don't care to bare my stomach when I am getting dressed for the day. I've shopped Athleta for probably 15 years and the lack of Tall tops is a real issue. This top is a nice ma...terial and is form-fitting. Similar to the Renew, it 's a little thicker and a bit less stretchy than, say, a Momentum top. It also comes without thumb holes, which I don't mind as I don't need them in every top. Truthfully, I like the top quite a bit and would be inclined to buy many of them in various colors as they don't have the same kind of "athletic" look as the Momentum and would make great staples. However, a L doesn't even hit my hips and I can't lift my arms at all unless I want to flash my entire belly. While it's a hair longer than the Renew Seamless Crewneck (also much too short), it's not enough to make any kind of significant difference. Please make these in the TALL sizes for those of us who are over 5'8". Otherwise, they are useless.

I'm usually a Medium in Athleta tops (Momentum Long Sleeve, all talk tops etc.) but this shirt and the Renew Seamless Rib Long Sleeve fit too tight around the waist, I had to size up to a Large which then looks too big in the bust. For reference: 32 Waist, 38 Hip, 36 Bust

This is the second time I bought this shirt, I loved it so much. I had gotten a stain on the original one and waited the whole summer until this came out with the fall collection! Great fit, perfect with absolutely everything!
