Runs Big!

Got as a gift and could not return. It is so big that it is not fitted enough to be warm and covers my face when I sit, causing the zipper ends to be bothersome. I love the color and look and would have ordered an XS petite or XXS if in stock.

Really cute fit. The sweater knit back has a nice touch to tone down the sporty look of a down vest. Also the nylon front isn't shiny like typical down vests. It's matte which I like.

I like the Athleta brand, but it's pricy and often a bit edgy for my taste. This vest is well made, but oversized. I tried on a small in the store and the arm holes were huge. I knew I needed to size down, but there was no other size to try on in person. When this went further on sale, I decided to take a chance with ordering a Petite X-Small online with 30% off sale plus rewards (a regular x-small would have been longer, but this worked as I'm short wasted). I don't believe anything you receive in the mail should be final sale as you haven't been able to try it on yet. Anyway, it's cute, and I can layer with it. For reference I'm 5ft 7in, 120lbs.

I never leave reviews but this vest is gorgeous. The mixed texture of sweater knit on the back with puffy vest front is super flattering (even forgiving if you've gained a little around the waist). I bought it half off - even then still expensive but very worth it. Pockets are soft and nice and big.

Loved how this vest has a knitted back panel, making it slightly dressy and less bulky. Unfortunately, I had to return the L I bought because it was too big, and by then they were out of stock in M's. I do have a size L coat that fits well, but this being sleeveless made it better to size down.
