I like this better than salutation jacket because I'm short 5ft1. The salutation is too long for me even in petite sizing, don't like the too long hem at back. I like straight hem in this jacket, hit at my higher hip, very flattering. I'm 100lbs or less and xs petite is a bit loose, which is fine, I... can layer, but it's a bit pointy at the front if looking from the side. Still love the cut of this jacket though. I don't use the hood and remove it. Hope this will come in ribbed version in the future, also it would be nice if it fits a bit tighter in the ribbed one.
Almost a 5 Except... but lowered to a 3 instead Loved the color, loved the fit and the fabric until... there were a million tiny snags everywhere on the fabric. I am so picky about taking care of my clothes. Only wore them a few times. Washed on cold/delicate separately Then the interfacing on t...he waistband separated causing bubbles. So disappointed with the qualify and I paid full priced :(

The jacket is connected with snap buttons on the back. I haven't removed them and not sure how it will look with taking off the hood; so if you're not a fan of the light weight hood you may not want to purchase. I like a looser fit; so I sized up so it isn't quite so form fitting.
