    The waist of a size 14 fit for us, but the shorts were way to short and kept riding up, so we tried size 16, but the waist of that one kept falling down, and when tightened it only wrinkled up. Maybe for someone with a larger waist/hip size, but definitely not us.

    These are great but they run HUGE- my 15 year old prefers the girl vs womens as the xxs is to tight and the xs is to big - she hates the high waste but she has outgrown girls xl and xxl is to baggy - she can wear a 12 in these - thats a large. Crazy huge - they are not tight either
