Light weight with pockets. I bought the xs which is my usual size - except for the more flowy linen items which I wear an xxs. For reference, I am 5' (sorta) and between 108-110 lbs. I am rounder in my mid-section, legs, and thighs. Very comfortable shorts.

Love these but wish they were high waist. The mid rise hit me in a weird place and just felt uncomfortable. I love the color though and don't understand why Athleta doesn't make this color in the high rise shorts. They're the exact same except for the rise, but offered in completely different colors.
